Two decade back, there was no term like digital printing. All the printings were done manually; but, with the advent of computers everything went digital and so the printing also. After the advent of digital printing technology, the whole scenario changed. Leaflets, pamphlets, banners and other printed materials all of sudden got the zing in their quality, they were lacking for years. Now, there is hardly anyone, who is going for manual printing.
The benefits of digital printing are simply endless. The quality of digital printing is a generation ahead than the manual printing quality. The time required to print a material digitally is only a fraction of the time required to print the same material manually. Last but not the least, the cost of digital printing is either same or less than the manual printing. That day is not far, when there would be only one printing technology and that is digital printing.

In general I like the designs that play with textures, designs and business card sizes. Either the stock, or embossing. They add a bit more interest, without the need for flashy colors.
