Logo Design-Reflect the emotions of the brand

A logo is the symbol which a company or organisation chooses to represent itself. Whenever I think of a logo, I am reminded of the logo of Google. It has remained same since its inception, and has stuck with its simplicity and usefulness. Google can face tough competition, and to beat that, it has retained and maintained its USP. And that USP is its simplicity of use. That very spirit is reflected in its logo. Similar is about Wikipedia. It is used around the globe, and has information on almost everything on earth! Hence, its logo also reflects a universal picture. It shows a globe with different letters in different languages. These designs are thought of very carefully and very intently before these are implemented and applied. These should reflect the passion and the spirit of the organisation, and should be able to connect to the target audience. The story of McD can be quoted here. It is a global brand, and it is ore connected to kids and the youth. Therefore, it should be made in a manner so that children and youth are attracted towards it. This is shown in its use of colours. A red yellow font is very eye catching, and can be instantly recognised. It also depicts a cheerful and happy mood. And that’s why it is supported by its punch line I’m lovin it.

Sometimes, people get so much connected to a logo design, that when there is a change in it, they do not accept it. Recently, apparel brand GAP changed its logo. It might have wanted to make the brand more suave, and more contemporary. But the protests by people made it to revert back to its original design. This reflects how people get connected to a brand as well its symbol. Hence, Logo design Services should be chosen in a way to reflect the true spirit and emotions of the brand and the company.
